yesterday I read the hatchet chapter one. The chapter was about Brian driving to the airport with his mum to go to his dad’s house. In the activities I drew a plane. I predict that Brian will land the plane in the forest. I thought that the author repeated alot of sentences

Did you have a chance to discuss the repeated words and phrases with your group? Why do you think the author does this? This novel will allow you and your group to think about the authors purpose and down the track I would like to do some research about the author with you, he has a very interesting personal history.
